Volunteer
“Being a buddy to a Night to Shine King was such an honor for me. I think I had more fun than he did (and he had a ton of fun)! What a blessing to celebrate those who God loves so dearly.”
Volunteer Opportunities
It takes over 300 volunteers to make Night To Shine Lehigh Valley the highlight of the year for our guests. There are many different opportunities to volunteer based on your passion, abilities, age and skill set.
Every volunteer 18 and older will be required to obtain the necessary clearances. If it has been 5 years since last background clearance, you will need to re-obtain them. The following link will take you to a printer-friendly packet with instructions. Please review the document before reaching out with questions.
Buddies
Buddies are volunteers who are paired 1:1 with a guest during the event. Your role is to hangout and have fun with your assigned guest and provide them assistance if needed throughout the evening. You will eat dinner, dance, catch a limo ride, and participate in other activities with them. Guests cannot attend without a Buddy.
The more buddies who volunteer - the more guests we can invite to attend!
Volunteer buddies must be at least 16 years old.
